More Party Photos

Happy Anniversary!

July was the 3rd anniversary of Revolution, so on Saturday night we had a party to celebrate! Big thanks to everyone who came, and to all of the students who helped us out on the night.

It was great to see some old friends, and find out about your new lives after graduating. We'd like to say well done to everyone - you are all doing well in your new careers, so congratulations!

And as for the Red Bull girls, well you definitely energized our party. I think all of our guests were a bit 'genkier' than usual. Thanks a lot to Sahashi-San for organizing that.

See you at the next party!

Summer Vacations!

So it's the last week of school for our students at Vantan College, and also all the students at EFAP College will be finishing next week - so we all wish you a happy summer vacation! We're jealous!

I can remember when I was a student that summer vacations were a lot of fun, and I hope that you enjoy yourselves. Some of you told me that you are going to music festivals like Fuji Rock and Summer Sonic, others relaxing at Onsens, and some people are going back to their hometowns.

Well, we hope you have a great time whatever you do, and don't forget your English! Check out this blogspot for some chances to practice your English, and send me an email or a comment (^_-)/

The Big Match

We are all very excited here at Revolution about tonights game - England v. Portugal in the World Cup. There's a lot of history between the two teams, and especially between the managers, Eriksson and Scolari.

I was so disappointed when England lost to them at Euro 2004, we were so close to winning.

So we need your support tonight. Come on England!

Food and Art

Today I was teaching food to the students at Vantan college - a subject that everyone loves!

It suprised me how many students want to open Ramen noodle shops, I don't really like ramen noodles myself - it only tastes good to me when I'm drunk. So, quite often then....

I also went to an art exhibition in Harajuku today. It was by the artist David Flores, and you can see one of his paintings above. I thought it was really cool the way he took a photo, and changed it into a 3-dimensional 'crystal' image. Reminded me of the American comics I read when I was younger. Check it out if you have time, it's in the X-Large shop.
